ROHNERT PARK, Calif., Nov. 2, 2026 — Corning & Company today announced the addition to its portfolio of Old Quaker Whiskey, a three-expression line produced and bottled by Old Quaker Distilling Company. The line includes a Rye Whiskey, a Bourbon Whiskey and an American Whiskey. Each is aged a minimum of four years, bottled at 84 proof (42% ABV), and priced at $34.99 per 750 mL bottle.

Old Quaker is built on a simple idea: you don’t have to be rich to enjoy rich whiskey. The line is priced for everyday drinking and labeled for people who read labels. No vague “heritage” claims, no fine print. A heritage brand that is both affordable and true.

A Name With American Roots

“Old Quaker” has a long history in American whiskey. Founded by Corning & Company in 1852, the brand later became Schenley’s flagship bourbon after Prohibition.

The name also nods to a community with a remarkable record. Barred from universities and public office, Quakers became merchants and built enterprises that still carry their names. They were early champions of fixed, honestly marked prices. Quaker women helped organize the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention, the founding event of the American women’s rights movement. Early Quaker farming communities, like most rural communities of the era, distilled surplus grain into whiskey.

Old Quaker Whiskey is not affiliated with the Religious Society of Friends, and the name is not an endorsement by Quakers today. Rather, it is an honest nod to a name and a history worth getting right.

From the Brand

“Old Quaker is a name with a real place in American whiskey, and we wanted to bring it back with reverence,” said Samuel D. Long, owner of the brand and CEO of Corning & Company. “That means telling the history straight. Four years in the barrel, 84 proof, $34.99. We’d rather earn trust than ask for it.”

Availability
